Everything Horror

Well…let me be the first to welcome you to my little home for everything Horrorific in the world of news, reviews and much much more in the Horror Scene. I call myself Mr. Frightie because well, Candyman was already taken. No but really, someone once called me a Frightful Delight, and I said that was too feminine in a way, so it was shortened to Mr. Frightie. So yes this is my playground, to bring each and everyone of you something new and original. If you love horror movies, just as I do, then I think you will definitely dig this blog spot. 

I started this for one simple reason, I love horror movies. They don’t get their due diligence among the mainstream movies today, but yet everyone wants to see them and/or remake them into something better. And I am taking it upon myself to spin my own reviews, thoughts, opinions and such about movies, actors, directors, studios, shows, channels, and anything related to horror movies. Every week I will feature an Icon from todays’ and yesterdays’ horror movie, thus breaking down the very thing that makes this person or persons such the icon that they are. Also offer insight and opinions on the movies as well; as far as, what worked for me, what didn’t work, what could have/should have been different, why a sequel will or won’t work, I’m telling you, I am going to dig deep and let it all hang out.

Basketball is definitely my first love, but this entire time I was having an affair with Horror Movies because, its just the one thing that I can always come back to. I spent alot of hours honing the skills on the basketball court, but my favorite thing to do after the game was go to the movies and see a scary movie. I’ve turned so many people to the darkside, I should probably change my name. Hell, my birthday is the celebration of Halloween, so maybe I was born this way. Didn’t take me long to find out about Zombies, Freddy, Jason, Aliens and everything in between.  My dad would tell you, I was always looking to bring home some type of horror movie from the video store, that is until they started checking ID’s for rated R movies in the late 80’s and early 90’s. By the way, F*CK CENSORSHIP!! Just had to get that out of the way.

Understand me that everyone may not agree or some may agree, the thought process behind this is to look at the big picture, I feel my thoughts are those that should be heard around the world. And hopefully one day, I will get to the mountain top, we all have to start somewhere and this is my baby. So I do hope you enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think, even if you think my site stinks up the joint, don’t be shy. I expect it anyway, since everyone’s a tough guy sitting in front of the computer anyway. I’m appreciative of the feedback and welcome everyone in to my world of horror news and insight.
